Whoever calls us gets the person who will also make the film. Between the first conversation and the final accounting there is nobody whose job is to put you through.

What we have in common is a certain stubbornness about material nobody wants until it is finished.

Refreshments an excerpt

• Coffee is a serious matter. For the espresso machine it comes from Sicily, from Messina to be exact; for filter coffee it is one of the lightly chocolatey blends of a large roaster.
• Tea, black or green. Black from Marks & Spencer — there is no way around it, nothing else is better if you want tea that is quick and easy on the stomach. And green, loose, a fingertip in a glass, infused several times.
• Matcha, chia, still water, evaluation ongoing.
• A glass of wine, provided the matter concerns substance rather than packaging.
• Beer, from the point at which the script holds, and not before. Preferably from the Waldviertel, where the brewing water is already Bohemian — very nearly a conditio sine qua non.
• Water in any case. Sparkling or still is the only question we can answer on the spot. And a little lemon juice.
